<p>A spindle motor according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes a shaft which forms the rotation center of a rotor, a sleeve which receives the shaft and rotationally supports the shaft, a base which includes one side which is combined with the outer circumference of the sleeve and the other side which is combined with a core around which a winding coil is wound, and a hub which is integrated with the center of the shaft, has a rotor magnet in a position corresponding to the core, and includes a flange side which receives a disk on one side thereof. A taper part is formed on the plate side of the base facing the end of the disk. According to the present invention, the reliability of a system by the operation of the motor is improved by preventing the record and storage errors of the disk generated in the driving of the spindle motor by previously preventing a contact with the base plate side of the disk.</p> |
