PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system that can render a projection image sharp even in a bright location and less in a failure such as color unevenness and the like, and to provide a projector that suppresses a failure in a projection image such as color unevenness and the like in display of the projection image by a projection image display member including a layer having a cholesteric liquid crystal phase immobilized.SOLUTION: There is provided a projection system including a projector which includes a drawing device for emitting polarized light and a projection image display member for displaying a projection image projected from the projector. An intermediate image screen is included between the drawing device and the projection image display member, and a phase difference film that has a phase difference large enough for putting the polarized light into pseudo non-polarized light is included between the drawing device and the intermediate image screen. The projection image display member includes a layer having a cholesteric liquid crystal phase immobilized. There is also provided a projector including the drawing device, the intermediate image screen, and the phase difference film. |
