PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR passage structure capable of suppressing the corrosion of an EGR passage.SOLUTION: The EGR passage structure is applied for an internal combustion engine 10 including a cylinder head 11 in which a cooling water passage 12 is formed. It includes an in-head EGR passage 22 arranged in the cylinder head 11, and an EGR cooler 23 arranged between the in-head EGR passage 22 and an intake passage of the internal combustion engine 10 for cooling exhaust gas to be recirculated into the intake passage. The in-head EGR passage 22 is arranged in such an attitude that an exhaust side end 22a into which the exhaust gas is introduced from an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine 10 is located vertically below an intake side end 22b connected to the EGR cooler 23 when the internal combustion engine 10 is mounted on a vehicle, and it is gradually inclined downward as extending from the intake side end 22b toward the exhaust side end 22a. |
