PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive unit which reduces or prevents torque omission at regenerative braking.SOLUTION: In a first state that an engine does not generate rotation torque, and a motor generator can receive the rotation torque of a first output shaft and/or a second output shaft, a vehicle drive unit disconnects a clutch, controls a transmission so that the motor generator receives the rotation torque of the first output shaft and/or the second output shaft, and in a state that the engine does not generate the rotation torque, and the motor generator cannot receive the rotation torque of the first output shaft and/or the second output shaft, connects the clutch, and controls the transmission so that the engine receives the rotation torque of the first output shaft and/or the second output shaft. |
