<p>The present invention proposes an effective device protecting a heavy load from dropping, avoiding sudden movements and slowing down the downward movement by means of the internal circuit operated by the rope (CD) in the device and a braking device (DF) based on the gradual friction of two surfaces (RF) and (SI) against each other, under the effect of centrifugal force. The device offers the user easy access to the location of the pulley and rollers, (PM) and (GA) in order to be able to easily and quickly intervene on the rope (CD), the "movable screen" (CM) being unlocked by simply operating a mechanical part (VM) and raised in a single movement. The slowing down of the load as it lowers, by means of "movable braking masses" (MM) is gradual and involves no sudden movements, unlike centrifugal force retarder devices that have until now used internal pawls that lock in stop notches under the effect of the movement of the rope (CD). The safety of the device is reinforced twofold by the rope (CD) being held in the "master pulley" (PM) and the "auxiliary rollers" (GA) by means of the pivoting "safety plate" (PS) and by means of the "restrictor carriage" (CE), as well as by the covering of said "master pulley" (PM) and said "auxiliary rollers" (GA) by the "movable screen" (CM). The effectiveness of the device is also optimised by the three-loop circuit created by the rope (CD) inside the device and the presence of the "restrictor carriage" (CE), without the rope (CD) being squeezed or jammed in a way that could affect the reliability of same.</p> |
