METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING LOCAL CLOCKS IN A DISTRIBUTED COMPUTER NETWORK

A method for synchronizing local clocks in a distributed computer network, wherein end systems and switches of the network executes the method as a synchronization state machine, which uses three different frame types.
