<p>The present invention provides antibodies which bind selectively to hair of animals and an antibody based drug delivery system in which a particular formulation can be directed to animal hair. This is driven by the need of increasing the effective period of therapeutics for animal ectoparasites treatment, reducing the toxicity of these drugs and improving their release profile</p>
