The present invention relates to a novel antifungal peptide BA-1 derived from Bacillusamyloliquefaciens EML-CAP-03 and uses thereof. More specifically, the novel antifungal peptide has an amino acid sequence described in SEQ ID NO: 1 and separated from the Bacillusamyloliquefaciens EML-CAP-03 has a significant antifungal effect against Fusariumsolani or Fusariumoxysporum fungus and is confired to have no cytotoxicity. Accordingly, the antifungal peptide BA-1 can be used as a pharmaceutical antifungal composition, cosmetic composition, agricultural chemicals, dietary supplements, preservative composition, or a quasi-product.
