<p>Disclosed is a scroll compressor having an improved structure to enhance reliability of a compressor unit. According to an idea of the present invention, the scroll compressor comprises a compressor unit to compress a refrigerant flowing into a mainframe. The compressor unit comprises: a fixing scroll fixated inside the mainframe which has a discharge hole and a fixing wrap placed outside the discharge hole; and an orbiting scroll which orbits around the fixing scroll which has an orbiting wrap forming a compression chamber together with the fixing wrap. The orbiting wrap comprises: an external contact unit (OO) formed on an outer surface of the orbiting wrap, near the discharge hole; and an internal contact unit which is near the discharge hole; and an internal contact unit (OI) formed on an inner surface of the orbiting wrap, which is near the discharge hole and connected to the external contact unit (OO). The compression chamber comprises a first compression chamber formed as the external contact unit (OO) contacts a first position (P1) of the inner surface of the fixing wrap at a time point of beginning a discharge of the refrigerant (T). The external contact unit (OO) is connected to the internal contact unit (OI) along a circumference of a first central circle (C1) formed to contact the first position (P1) at the time point of beginning discharge of the refrigerant (T), and the center of the first central circle (C1) is located on a normal (A1) of the first position (P1).</p> |
