PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location information authentication system that allows a location information acquisition device acquiring location information from a positioning terminal to determine whether the positioning terminal is compliant with the location information authentication system.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle apparatus (positioning terminal) is configured to authenticate a navigation message included in a satellite radio wave received from a GPS satellite (S4), and for the authentication, an authentication center processing device is configured to acquire an H matrix used in preparation of parity data. When authenticated, the on-vehicle apparatus is configured to prepare a hash value for showing the authenticated navigation message using the H matrix acquired from the authentication center (S10), and transmit the hash value together with location information (S12). The H matrix may be acquired from the authentication center for authenticating the navigation message included in the satellite radio wave received by a self-terminal. Thus, it is unnecessary to separately acquire data for preparing the hash value from the authentication center. |
