PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a performance prediction device for more suitably predicting a performance of a virtualization system.SOLUTION: A performance prediction device comprises: first performance model generation means for generating a performance model of the first virtual machine respectively on the basis of information about an application of each of first virtual machines of a first application unit capable of obtaining information about an application; second performance model generation means for letting a second application unit including a second virtual machine unable to obtain information about an application running on a virtual machine and hardware unit as a measurement object unit, and generating a performance model of a measurement object unit on the basis of a result of measuring the measurement object unit as the measurement object; and synthesis means for generating a performance model of s system by synthesis processing of using an output value in the performance model of one unit as an input value in the performance model of the other unit with respect to the performance model of each first virtual machine and the performance model of the measurement object unit.
