<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-air battery capable of suppressing an influence of penetration and the like of an electrolytic solution from an end surface of an opening for taking in air, by a configuration in which an external packaging body is formed of a sheet material containing paper.SOLUTION: An external packaging body 11 is formed of a sheet material 101 containing paper. The sheet material 101 covers a magnesium electrode (metal electrode) with a clearance in between, and at least an inner surface side is formed in a liquid-impermeable manner. The external packaging body 11 is provided with an opening 22K to which an air electrode 13 is attached from an outer surface side, and end surface treatment for preventing penetration of an electrolytic solution injected inward is applied to an end surface of the opening 22K.</p> |
