An electronic visual display includes a screen having a plurality of canvases each configured to display content from at least one content source. The display also includes a single software-implemented user agent adapted to receive user selections associated with at least one of the canvases and configured to manage each of the plurality of canvases independently of one another according to the user selections. The user agent is configured to prevent the canvases from overlaying any portion of one another. |

a screen including a plurality of canvases each configured to display content from at least one content source, the content displayed on each one of the plurality of canvases being independent of the content displayed on each other one of the plurality of canvases; and a single software-implemented user agent adapted to receive user selections associated with at least one of the canvases and configured to manage each of the plurality of canvases independently of one another according to the user selections, the user agent being configured to prevent the plurality of canvases from overlaying any portion of one another. |
