A scroll compressor is provided with: a hermetic container (1); a stationary scroll (3) provided within the hermetic container (1) and having a base plate (3a) and a spiral tooth (3b) protruding from the lower surface of the base plate (3a); an orbiting scroll (4) provided within the hermetic container (1) and having a base plate (4a) and a spiral tooth (4b) which rises from the upper surface of the base plate (4a); a compression chamber (70) formed by the engagement between the spiral tooth (3b) of the stationary scroll (3) and the spiral tooth (4b) of the orbiting scroll (4); and an injection flow passage (50) communicating with the compression chamber (70) through an opening (3c) formed passing through the upper and lower surfaces of the base plate (3a) of the stationary scroll (3). In a plan view of the stationary scroll (3), at least a part of the spiral tooth (3b) of the stationary scroll (3), the spiral tooth (3b) forming the compression chamber (70), is located on the inside of the opening (3c). |
