<p>The present invention is applicable to the field of mobile communications, and provides a frequency channel number measurement control method, a base station, and a user equipment. The method comprises: a base station receiving frequency channel numbers capable of being measured by a UE and reported by the UE, and receiving a maximum value of a quantity of the frequency channel numbers capable of being measured by the UE; the base station determining a quantity of the frequency channel numbers to be measured by the UE according to the maximum value of the quantity of the frequency channel numbers capable of being measured by the UE; the base station determining the frequency channel numbers to be measured by the UE according to the quantity of the frequency channel numbers to be measured by the UE and the frequency channel numbers capable of being measured by the UE; and the base station delivering the frequency channel numbers to be measured by the UE. In the present invention, the UE reports the maximum value of the quantity of the frequency channel numbers capable of being measured by the UE to the base station; when the UE needs to measure multiple frequency channel numbers, the base station delivers the frequency channel numbers to be measured by the UE according to the maximum value of the quantity of the frequency channel numbers capable of being measured by the UE, thereby making full use of the frequency channel number measurement capability of the UE, reducing the call drop rate during UE handovers, and improving network performance.</p> |
