EXPERIMENTAL SYSTEM FOR MEASURING WAVE FORCES

The present invention suggests a system to experiment a measurement of wave power comprising: a wave power measuring device (100) composed of a tidal wave water tank (110) which stores water, and is longitudinally formed in a waterway form such that waves can flow in one direction, a tidal wave device (120) which generates waves in the water stored inside the tidal wave water tank (110), a wave pressure gauge (190) positioned on an opposite side of the tidal wave device (120), formed in a similar shape to a breakwater and is separated from one surface of the tidal wave water tank (110), measuring a wave pressure of the waves on both surfaces, and a wall body (150) which includes an underwater load cell (140) to measure the wave power of the waves; a horizontal load calculating unit (200) which adds up the wave pressure and the horizontal load of the waves measured by the wave pressure gauge (190) and the underwater load cell (140) in order to calculate a horizontal load of the waves applying to the surface of the wall body where the wave pressure gauge (190) and the underwater load cell (140) are positioned; and a display unit (300) which displays the result values calculated by the horizontal load calculating unit (200) to an experimenter. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system (100) to experimentally measure wave power minimizes an error range of the wave pressure and horizontal load of the waves applying to the wall body by measuring the horizontal load of the waves in point units and in area units using the wave pressure gauge (190) and the underwater load cell (140), and then adding up the measurement values; thereby accurately evaluating the horizontal load of the waves.
