PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a transparent conductor including pressing that inhibits tearing of a metal nanowire and scratching on a metal nanowire layer.SOLUTION: A method for preparing a transparent conductor includes pressing a laminate with a first pressing roll. The laminate includes: a base layer; and a conductive network formed on the base layer and including metal nanowires. The first pressing roll has a surface hardness of D-50 to D-90 in the Shore D hardness. The present invention can provide a method for preparing a transparent conductor including pressing that inhibits tearing of a metal nanowire and scratching, a method for preparing a transparent conductor with reduced sheet resistance deviation, and a method for preparing a transparent conductor with a good appearance.
