<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an appropriate detection of a chain sag at a return side of the chain and to allow its maintenance work to be easily carried out.SOLUTION: This invention comprises an endless chain wound around a sprocket 6; an inversion part where the chain 10 is engaged with the sprocket 6 and inverted from a carrier side to a return side; an arm 21 supported to be oscillated in a vertical direction; a contact part 21c arranged at the arm 21 and contacted with a lower surface of a return side chain at a point where the chain 10 is moved away from the inversion part; a connecting member 24 made of fibrous thread or stripe to connect a fixed frame 5 with the arm 21 so as to restrict oscillation of the arm 21; and a detecting part 23 for detecting that the arm 21 is oscillated when the connecting member 24 is cut by abutting the lower surface of the chain 10 against the contact part 21c. The detecting part 23 is a chain sag detecting device 20 installed above the return side chain.</p> |
