<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the absorption performance of collision energy in dealing with small overlapping collision and suppress deformation damage of a vehicle body in a case of slight collision.SOLUTION: A side frame gusset 100 is provided in an area of the vehicle width direction outer side in the vicinity of the front end part of a front side frame 40 so that the front end part becomes the vehicle width direction outer side with respect to the rear end part. A cradle gusset 200 is arranged in an area of the vehicle width direction outer side in the front end corner part of a cradle frame 70 so as to expand to the vehicle width direction outer side as it goes toward the front side, and secures rigidity against the buffer load with the upper surface part extended to the vehicle width direction outer side, the lower surface part joined to the upper surface part, and the front surface part blocking the front opening parts of the upper surface part and the lower surface part. Consequently, collision energy is effectively absorbed with the front side frame 40 and the cradle frame 70 at the time of small overlapping collision, and the deformation damage of the vehicle body is suppressed to the minimum level in the case of slight collision.</p> |
