<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head processing method capable of suppressing generation of bubbles within a thermal ink jet head to effectively prevent initial printing failures or printing unevenness due to the bubbles.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an ink jet head processing method for imparting wettability to the inside of the ink jet head being a thermal ink jet head which has a plurality of nozzle channels formed by being partitioned by nozzle walls 153, a plurality of ink ejection ports 151 formed such that the ink ejection ports are in communication with the nozzle channels, and a heater 152 arranged within each of the nozzle channels. Prior to ink filling, the inside of the ink jet head is wetted using a treatment liquid which contains a surfactant comprising a water-soluble compound having an acetylenic linkage, a water-soluble monohydric alcohol, and water, the treatment liquid having a surface tension of 38 mN/m or less.</p> |
