<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable post-treatment work of shredded chips shredded by a shredding mechanism to be easily performed.SOLUTION: A shredder comprises a shredder casing 1, a carrying-in passage 2 which is provided in the shredder casing 1 and in which a sheet-like object S is carried; a shredding mechanism 3 provided in the middle of the carrying-in passage 2 in the shredder casing 1 and shredding the sheet-like object S carried in the carrying-in passage 2; a waste basket 4 provided under the shredding mechanism 3 in the shredder casing 1 and housing the shredded chips Sa shredded by the shredding mechanism 3; and a movable support mechanism 5 for supporting the waste basket 4 in such a way that the waste basket 4 can be extracted from the inside of the shredder casing 1. The movable support mechanism 5 comprises a dish-shaped receiving member 6 on which the waste basket 4 can be placed and a guide mechanism 7 provided in a bottom part of the shredder casing 1 and guiding the receiving member 6 in such a way that the receiving member 6 can be extracted from the inside of the shredder casing 1 while at least a part of the receiving member 6 is in contact with an installation surface of the shredder.</p> |
