<p>A user equipment, a base station and a scheduling method for system information. The user equipment comprises: a receiving unit for receiving scheduling information about system information sent by a base station, with the scheduling information comprising a repetition period of the system information, and for receiving the system information sent by the base station through a high speed physical downlink shared channel (HS-PDSCH) within the repetition period; and a first determination unit for determining, according to the scheduling information, to receive the system information sent by the base station through the HS-PDSCH within the repetition period. Also disclosed are a corresponding base station and a scheduling method for system information. The user equipment of the embodiments of the present invention, according to the scheduling information notified by the base station, receives the system information sent by the base station through the high speed physical downlink shared channel, thereby realizing flexible scheduling of the system information when the high speed physical downlink shared channel bears the system information.
