<p>The invention relates to a card sleeve meant, in particular, for banking cards, either smart cards or magnetic tape cards, to be employed for protecting personal information stored within the memory thereof against tampering, viruses or even fraudulent deletion. According to the invention, the sleeve has the rectangular shape of an envelope folded in its middle, each part being made of two sheaths (1 and 2), i.e. an external one and an internal one, respectively, between which an electromagnetic shielding plate (3) is placed and fixed by a peripheral seam (4) to the two sheaths (1 and 2), i.e. an external one and an internal one, respectively, where the shielding plate (3) is made of a plurality of layers (5.1, 5.2 and 5.3) of ferrite, carbon and aluminium, respectively.</p> |
