A frame profile assembly (1) is an integral part of a window or door frame. The assembly (1) has a base frame profile (2), a dividing profile (3) configured as a post or cross-bar, and a connecting device (11) for attaching the dividing profile (3) to the base frame profile (2) while overlapping a base profile center seal (4) in sections. The base frame profile (2) has a circumferential center seal (4) which seals an interior region (5) from an exterior region (6) that is exposed to the weather when the frame is installed. A folded base of a profile cross-section of the base frame profile (2) is disposed in the exterior region (6). The connecting device (11) comprises a connecting seal body (12), which is disposed in the folded base and, in case of an installed assembly, is disposed in a recess (19) positioned completely in the exterior region (6) in a sealing manner. The result is a frame profile assembly, the simplified installation of which is ensured while simultaneously providing a secure seal between the interior region and the exterior region even in the connecting regions of the dividing profile at the base frame profile. |
