<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for radiation irradiation of samples in the periphery of a core or in a core of a nuclear reactor comprising: a double wall containment (6) to delimit a chamber (7); a container (4) contained in the chamber (7), at a distance away from an inner wall (8) of the containment, and designed to contain coolant; and a sample holder (2) whose free end is arranged inside the container (4). The inside of the container is fluid connected to the outside of the container, and the volume between the inner wall (8) of the containment (6) and the container (4) is filled with a mixture of gases or a gas referred to as a coolant cushion gas.</p> |
