<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for compensating a recommender. The system comprises: a recommender registering unit which registers and saves recommender information for identifying a recommender; a purchase information collecting unit which collects and saves information on a recommender who recommends content and a consumer when purchase is completed; a purchase information DB which saves purchase information collected by the purchase information collecting unit; a compensation calculating unit which calculates compensation to be paid to the recommender according to a preset compensation rate; and a control unit which provides compensation to a user who recommends content based on the purchase information, and provides compensation to both the previous recommender and the next recommender when recommenders who previously recommended the same content to the user exist. When purchase is completed through content recommendation, the system provides compensation to a user who recommended the relevant content. In addition, when a user who received recommendation induces purchase by recommending content to another user, the system provides compensation to both the previous recommender and the next recommender. Therefore, the system and the method can increase a purchase rate higher than a method of providing advertisements to unspecified users, by encouraging content recommendation among users.</p> |
