PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power cable that secures a sufficient current flow passage for fault current.SOLUTION: A power cable contains a first steel pipe connected to a reference potential point, three first power transmission cables which are inserted in the first steel pipe and have first conductive wires for transmitting three-phase AC power, and a return cable which is inserted in the first steel pipe and connected to the reference potential point. Each of the three first power transmission cables further has a first insulating layer covering the first conductive wire, a metal layer covering the first insulating layer and a second insulating layer covering the metal layer, and does not have any shield wire. The three first power transmission cables are twisted around the return cable along the longitudinal direction of the return cable, and the metal layer is connected to the reference potential point. |
