<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the display quality of a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes; a first substrate having first wiring extending in a first direction, second wiring extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, a switching element electrically connected to the first wiring and the second wiring, a common electrode, an insulation film disposed on the common electrode, a pixel electrode electrically connected to the switching element, and disposed on the insulation film so as to be faced to the common electrode with the insulation film interposed, and a first orientation film covering the pixel electrode; a second substrate having a second orientation film faced to the first orientation film; and a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules held between the first orientation film and the second orientation film. The pixel electrode has one main pixel electrode extending in a belt-like shape in a pixel region specified by the first wiring and the second wiring.</p> |
