The present invention relates to an Abelson murine leukaemia viral oncogene homolog 1 (ABL1) inhibitor for use in the treatment of ocular neovascularisation associated with a non-cancerous condition. The invention also relates to the use of an ABL1 inhibitor as a complementary therapy with VEGF or VEGF receptor inhibitor treatment and provides pharmaceutical compositions and kits comprising one or both inhibitors.
