The present invention relates to a phenoxyacetyl derivative compound and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same as an active ingredient for preventing or treating nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. The compound according to the present invention is excellent in the inhibition of SREBP-1c activity and FAS expression, and is thus expected to be able to be usefully used as an active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition or a functional food composition for preventing, ameliorating or treating nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
