<p>Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a method for remotely controlling an external electronic device using the same. The mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention selects specific functions of an external electronic device, which is a target of the remote control, by using situation information of the terminal in the case of receiving the remote control request of the external electronic device; produces remote control signals with respect to the specific functions of the external electronic terminal in the case of satisfying preset conditions by comparing the situation information of the terminal with reference situation information; and transmits the produced remote control signals to the external electronic device, which allows the external electronic device to be controlled remotely.</p> |
