PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a device and method for controlling high voltage direct current transmission system.SOLUTION: A device 100 for controlling a high voltage direct current transmission system includes: a communication unit 110 communicating with a control device; a control unit 150 obtaining a databack signal received through the communication unit 110, checking a data error and a line connection error on the basis of the obtained databack signal, and outputting a valve control signal on the basis of the databack signal; and an output unit 140 outputting the valve control signal to a valve control device on the basis of control of the control unit 150. |
