<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a vehicular pad member capable of making collision energy absorption performance compatible with an airbag guide function with excellent assembly workability.SOLUTION: A vehicular pad member 10 includes: a flange section 12 extended upward along a side rail 2 from an end on the side rail 2 side of a guide section 11 for guiding an airbag 5; a mounting hole 14 formed in the flange section 12; and an opening 15 which is connected to the mounting hole 14 so as to be opened downward. A clip 30 includes: a grommet 31 which passes the opening 15, is mounted in the mounting hole 14 from below the flange section 12 and is inserted into a mounting hole 3 of the side rail 2; and a pin 32 which is inserted into a pin hole 37 of the grommet 31 and expands the diameter of the grommet 31 to be engaged with the mounting hole 3. Accordingly, the vehicular pad member 10 facilitates assembling and is capable of exerting excellent collision energy absorption performance and an airbag guide function.</p> |
