<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by shortening cycle time required for assembling an engine and a transmission.SOLUTION: In an assembly process S1 on a conveyor 4, a transmission 3 gripped by an assembly robot 7 is assembled with respect to an engine 2. A previous process S2, a temporary phase matching process S12, and a phase matching process S11 are set separately from the assembly process S1. In the previous process S2, a rotational phase of a drive plate on an engine side is detected by a visual device 41. In the temporary phase matching process S12, rotational phase matching of a converter housing on a side of the transmission 3 is roughly performed. In the phase matching process S11, the phase matching of the converter housing on the side of the transmission 3 gripped by the assembly robot 7 is performed based on information from the visual device 41 to conform to the rotational phase of the drive plate.</p> |
