The present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material that excels in all of plasticizer resistance, image preservability under moisture and heat, background fogging under moisture and heat, and color redevelopment properties. A heat-sensitive recording material having a heat-sensitive recording layer including, on a paper support medium, a colorless or light-color dye precursor and a developer for reacting with the dye precursor when heated and causing the dye precursor to develop a color, wherein the paper support medium contains 0.25-1.0 mass%, with respect to a pulp solid content, of a neutral rosin sizing agent, calcium carbonate, and aluminum sulfate, the developer being a compound having a phenylureido structure inside the molecule. |
