A bay battery cell (104) is charged at a voltage for operating a PC main body. A USB port (103) is capable of having an external apparatus connected thereto, said external apparatus being different from the PC main body, and is a terminal for supplying power to the external apparatus. The DC-DC converter (106) receives input of power from the bay battery cell (104), converts the inputted power into power at a voltage for operating the external apparatus, and supplies the power to the external apparatus through the USB port (103). A switch control circuit (109) operates the DC-DC converter (106) in the cases where power is not supplied from the PC main body, and the external apparatus is not connected to the USB port (103).
