The present invention relates to a food waste treatment method using halophytes. More specifically, the method is used to prevent the dead crops and non-uniform growth of livestock due to the high content of salt in the food waste processed as fertilizers or feeds when the food waste is recycled as the fertilizers or feeds and efficiently recycle the food waste from a restaurant or a household. The method includes: a food waste collecting step of efficiently recycling the food waste; a cultivation area providing step of providing an area to grow the halophytes on the food waste; and a halophyte cultivating step of enabling the halophytes to absorb the high content of salt in the food waste in the cultivation area to minimize the content of salt. The present invention provides the source of initial low salt-content substances for producing the fertilizers and feeds and uses the halophytes grown on the food waste with the high salt content as a source of the salt for the animal and human. |
