PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission display apparatus capable of enhancing electron emission efficiency of a field emission source.SOLUTION: A field emission source 10 contains a first electrode 101; a semiconductor layer 102; an electron collection layer 103; an insulation layer 104; and a second electrode 105; the insulation layer 104, the electron collection layer 103, the semiconductor layer 102 and the first electrode 101 are stacked on one surface of the second electrode in this order, the first electrode 101 and the second electrode 105 are oppositely arranged with an interval, the first electrode 101 is an electron emission end of the field emission source 10, and the electron collection layer is a conductive layer. |
