PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence caused by thermal expansion of a resin, in a sliding bearing formed by members including the resin.SOLUTION: A sliding bearing 1 is a cylindrical sliding bearing in which a bearing surface 10 for slidably holding an outer circumferential surface of a rotating body is formed at an inner circumferential surface 11 thereof and is a cylindrical multi-layer sliding member which is manufactured by roll-molding of a base material impregnated with the base resin. A plurality of through-holes 13 penetrating between the inner circumferential surface 11 and an outer circumferential surface 12 are formed at appropriate intervals in the bearing surface 10, within a range capable of holding a strength which withstands a load required for the sliding bearing 1. Into the through-holes 13, a solid lubricant 14 having higher thermal conductivity than air and lower thermal expansion coefficient than the base resin is buried in accordance with required sliding performance and use conditions (such as continuous use time in the atmosphere). As the solid lubricant 14, a lubricant made of a fired graphite single body or a lubricant made of the resin including the fired graphite, or the like is used. |
