PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of facilitating using a handwritten document.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises: display processing means; and processing means. The display processing means displays a handwritten document including a plurality of handwritten input strokes on a screen. The processing means executes processing for storing data corresponding to the handwritten document in a clipboard that is a temporary storage area for data exchange between application programs if a request to copy the handwritten document is issued. The processing means shapes the handwritten document and stores first data obtained by shaping in the clipboard if the request to copy the handwritten document is issued. The first data is stored in the clipboard as data in a first data format that enables a plurality of types of application programs to view the data. |
