<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document conveyance device that can prevent a thin document from getting jammed and can convey a document having sufficient stiffness in slide contact with a surface of a translucent plate such as a document read glass.SOLUTION: When a user sets a second conveyance mode in which an opposite surface 46a of an opposite guide plate 46 is pressed lightly against a document read glass 31 by moving an operation slider 61 toward a document tray 42 for a document N which is thicker than a normal thickness, read unevenness of an image of the document N read by an image reader 2 can be suppressed. Further, when the user sets a first conveyance mode in which the interval between the opposite surface 46a of the opposite guide plate 46 and the document read glass 31 is widened by moving the operation slider 61 away from the document tray 42 for a document N which is thin, the document N is prevented from getting jammed.</p> |
