<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy linkage between a Web application on the Internet and an application in an information processing terminal.SOLUTION: In order to call a function provided by an application in an information processing terminal 102 via an UA 106, a proxy application 901 converts definition information of the application into the Web Intents format to register the same in the UA 106 (S1303-S1316 in Fig.11). In response to a Web Intents request, the UA 106 follows the registered Web Intents to provide a user with a screen for calling services on the network and the function provided by the application in the information processing terminal 102 (S1409) and, in response to an instruction selected by the user on the screen, calls the function of the application via the proxy application 901 (S1410-S1412).</p> |
