<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor which can prevent a backflow of a refrigerant after a stop of a compressor, and can prevent the generation of noise.SOLUTION: A gas compressor comprises: a housing having a suction chamber and a discharge chamber; and a compression part accommodated in the housing. The compression part comprises: a hollow cylinder block; paired side blocks which are arranged so as to sandwich the cylinder block; and a rotor rotatably arranged at an internal periphery of the cylinder block. A cylinder chamber is formed between an inner wall of the cylinder block and an outer wall of the rotor, a suction passage for sucking a refrigerant into the cylinder chamber from the suction chamber is arranged at one side block, a discharge passage for discharging the refrigerant in the cylinder chamber to the discharge chamber is arranged at the another side block, and a check valve is arranged in at least either the suction passage or the discharge passage.</p> |
