1. A computerized method for rendering an image on a display screen of an electronic display comprising:
receiving, at a processing circuit, a plurality of image layers; mapping the image layers to a destination surface corresponding to pixels of the display screen; determining, by the processing circuit, one or more tiles for the destination surface, wherein each pixel of a respective tile is mapped to a number of image layers, each image layer containing the same kind of image information; utilizing different shader modules configured to receive and merge respective image layers mapped to respective tiles into display data, each different shader module being utilized for tiles associated with a same respective number of image layers that contain the same kind of image information; and providing the display data to the display screen. |
