An objective of the present invention is to distinguish against a driver's foot press manipulation and correct a start point detection value even if the start point detection value deviates toward a manipulation direction. Provided is a device for detecting degree of manipulation, configured to comprise: a storage part (24) which stores detection values of a location detection device (15) when a manipulation member (2) is in a start point location and an end point location respectively as a start point detection value (Vmin) and an end point detection value (Vmax); a degree of manipulation computation part (23) which computes a degree of manipulation (Sp) on the manipulation member on the basis of a difference (ΔV) between the detection value of the location detection device and the start point detection value; and a start point detection value correction part (25) which, if the detection value of the location detection device is less than the start point detection value (step ST3), adds a deviation (Vd) of the detection value from the start point detection value to correct the start point detection value (step ST5), and if the detection value of the location detection device is greater than the end point detection value (Yes in step ST6), adds a deviation (Vd) of the detection value from the end point detection value to correct the start point detection value (step ST9). |
