The invention relates to an electrochemical micro motor based on conductive polymers, to be used for obtaining relatively high torque at reduced rotation speed. According to the invention, the micro motor consists of an eccentric rotor comprising a cylindrical hub (1) which is eccentrically mounted on a vertical shaft (2) resting on some sliding bearings and which is externally provided with a bearing wherethrough radial forces are transmitted to the rotor from a stator which consists, in its turn, of some electrochemical actuators (A, B, C and D) with conductive polymers arranged according to a circular path around the rotor and equally spaced, each actuator consisting of two electrodes (4 and 4') made of platinum, fixed at the extremity of a blade (5) made of conductive polymer which, by means of the other extremity, which is free, acts upon the rotor. The four actuators (A, B, C and D) are successively activated from a direct current source (6), by means of an impulse distributor (7) controlled by a control setting block (8) associated with a computer (9). |
