RECOGNITION SYSTEM FOR RADIATION THERAPY

A radiation therapy recognition system is disclosed. The radiation therapy recognition system comprises: a first recognized means which is installed on the body, a gown, or a wearable gear of a patient; a first recognizer which is installed on a couch in a radiation therapy device in order to sense the first recognized means when the patient lies; and a control unit which receives a signal from the first recognizer, and outputs information of the patient in order to prevent mistakes in radiation therapy. Therefore, even when the order of the patient changes or the patient enters by following the wrong order, the radiation therapy recognition system can prevent mistakes in radiation therapy, by automatically identifying the patient information, and the use and type of an assistance device without a treatment file or identification card of the patient lying on the couch.
