PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device capable of obtaining high production efficiency even when three kinds of sub-pixels for complementary colors are provided in addition to sub-pixels corresponding to three primary colors, and further to provide an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: In an electro-optical device 100, a plurality of unit pixel groups PG including three pixels Px consisting of first pixels Px, second pixels Pxand third pixels Pxbeing arranged in an extension direction of scanning lines 2 is arranged in the extension direction of the scanning lines 2 and in an extension direction of data lines 3. In the first pixels Px, first sub-pixels SPfor a red color (R), a green color (G), a blue color (B) and a yellow color (Y) are arranged in the extension direction of the scanning lines 2. In the second pixels Px, second sub-pixels SPfor the red color (R), the green color (G), the blue color (B) and a magenta color (M) are arranged in the extension direction of the scanning lines 2.
