Disclosed is a starting device for an internal combustion engine, comprising a chassis (9), a rope sheave (1), an intermediate wheel (2) located above the rope sheave (1), and a starting wheel (3) located above the intermediate wheel (2), wherein an intermediate shaft (4) is provided on the chassis (9), the rope sheave (1), the intermediate wheel (2) and the starting wheel (3) are sheathed onto the intermediate shaft (4) in sequence, the rope sheave (1) is provided at the bottom with a reset coil spring (11), a one-way driving structure is provided between the rope sheave (1) and the intermediate wheel (2), a one-way structure is provided between the intermediate wheel (2) and the intermediate shaft (4), and a buffer structure is provided between the intermediate wheel (2) and the starting wheel (3). The starting device for an internal combustion engine enables the starting device to be effectively buffered when starting up, so as to prevent the starting device from rapid impact and damage; at the same time, the one-way structure can avoid the additional impact of the counter force of the internal combustion engine when the reset coil spring pulls the rope sheave to reset; and the starting device has a simple structure and production and assembly processes, and a stable operation. |
