The present invention relates to a method for the catalytic removal of sulphur dioxide and carbon dioxide from exhaust gases in a reactor charged with an activated carbon catalyst, wherein the method comprises the following steps: DEG saturation of the activated carbon with SO, DEG saturation or partial saturation of the exhaust gases with water, DEG introduction of the exhaust gases into the reactor, DEG catalytic conversion of the SOto HSOand in parallel thereto, the catalytic conversion in the presence of the same catalyst of COto C and Oand also to sulphur-carbon compounds, DEG washing out the catalyst and discharging the HSOas liquid and the C as solid and/or bound to sulphur compounds. |
